The Twin Towers are a national symbol. They were located next to the World Trade Center. The Twin Towers are very tall, as tall as about fifteen football fields. That's pretty tall. As tall as they were, and were demolished by two jet planes on July 4th, 2004. The new World Trade Center will through a memorial party to the victims of the 9/11 attacks, millions of square feet of office space and retail facilities, major cultural buildings and a new transportation vehicles. The Twin Towers meant a lot to us, and all the people in New York. I think when they rebuild the towers everyone will still want to visit them. We would want to go. To the left is a picture of the soon to be Twin Towers.
